Hope to see you at CannaTech London!

We are pleased to introduce you to our sponsors at CannaTech UK, Hempson Bio-Tech, whose stated mission is to  “help make the world a healthier place, one person at a time.”

Hempson Bio-Tech is the first and only company to obtain a legal license from the Chinese government to cultivate, extract, and export high quality, full-spectrum cannabinoid oil from China.

Hempson chose Yunnan, the poorest province in China, because it is the medicinal botanical capital of the world. The climate is the perfect for hemp as it is 6,000 ft in elevation, surrounded by mountains on 3 sides, and it rains every day from April to October, which is why it is also home to over 75% of the world’s plant-based medicines. Our plants have grown naturally in this environment for over 6,000 years with only rainwater and sunlight, which is the same natural growing process that we use today. The resulting heirloom genetics produce a rich full-spectrum profile with a beautiful red hue, including rare cannabinoids and terpenes.

How do they do it?

Hempson Bio-Tech uses a super-critical CO2 Extractor, which was custom-built by Martin Marietta, to refine 1800 liters of material per run. This unit has 3 column chromatography units built in, which allows them to isolate, enhance or even remove cannabinoids, like Cannabidiol (CBD) or tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This process allows Hempson Bio-Tech to achieve a highly refined oil; our most popular oil boasts 94% total active cannabinoids, 70% CBD and 1% terpenes, with no crystallization! This oil is truly one in a million, and it includes rare cannabinoids, like: Tetrahyrdrocannabivarin (THCv) and Cannabidivarin (CBDv), or rare terpenes, such as A-bisabolol or Beta-caryophyllene.

Below is a brief explanation of several of the compounds found in our products, read on to learn how these amazing compounds can help with your health.

Cannabidiol (CBD)

CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, which has the following properties: anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, anti-nausea, neuroprotective, antioxidant, lowers blood pressure, analgesic and antagonist to THC, meaning it reduces its effects; studies shows that it could help to treat the following conditions: epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis/muscle spasms, anxiety, psychotic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), depression, insomnia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, glaucoma and chronic pain.

Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCv)

Known as “the racecar of cannabinoids,” due to the fast activation time.  THCv reduces blood sugar, appetite and anxiety, stimulates bone growth and studies show that it may help with Diabetes and Alzheimer’s.

Cannabidivarin (CBDv)

Particularly effective in providing symptom relief for many immune diseases studies show it is an analgesic, reduces inflammation, protects the cell lining and the digestive tract.

Cannabigerol (CBG)

Said to be “the mother of all cannabinoids,” as it is a predecessor to all other cannabinoids. Studies show it block receptors that cause cancer cell growth, reduces tumors, protects neurons and impacts GABA (one of your body’s primary neurotransmitters).

A-bisabolol

A terpene that works to repair damaged, dry skin, has medicinal properties for reducing sun damage, and studies have shown it helps with reduction in skin cancers.

Beta-caryophyllene

A terpene that has the following potential medical benefits: anti-inflammatory, analgesic, alcohol and craving reduction, anti-cancer, anti-anxiety and anti-depressant.
