A recent article published on www.wtvm.com describes how Cannabinoids Oil, the oil derived from cannabis, is helping reduce seizures in patients according to information from Doctors at UAB.

UAB researchers say half of the first 51 subjects enrolled in the study saw improvement over a six-month period.

Seizures declined, depending on the dosage. In fact, two patients were seizure-free.

A key point of this study is not just if Cannabinoids works, but how it interacts with other medications taken by these patients.

UAB neurologist Jerzy Szarflarski says funding has extended the research another year. The ultimate goal is to determine how Cannabinoids Oil best works and then make it available in prescription form to patients with severe seizures.
